Research Database: EBSCO Host

The newest addition to the district's library system is a powerful research database, EBSCO Host. Every student and teacher has access to this huge database that includes periodicals, global newspapers, professional journals, images, and video clips.

Students of all grade levels have access to abstracts and full length articles on a wide variety of subjects. This database is particularly helpful to our students doing research on current events and timely topics either domestic or global, including the sciences, health, ecology, government, politics, economics, and more. In addition, the district also provides the Points of View database, which gives students articles of opposing views on many debatable global issues.

For teachers conducting research for lesson plans or graduate courses, EBSCO Host is of great value. The professional library includes the ERIC database and many education journals.

Users have access at all times by going to the e-Library from the district's website. For log in and passwords, see your site's teacher librarian.
